Job Title: Kitchen Supervisor

Job Summary:

The kitchen manager will plan and adhere to a monthly menu, purchase food, and prepare and serve meals and snacks accordingly. The person in this position will maintain the kitchen and prepare meals in compliance with State and Federal law.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Inventory food and supplies to determine purchasing needs

  • Responsible for purchase of food and supplies

  • Plan nutritious and healthy monthly menus

  • Prepare and keep track of special needs diets, and inform other employees as necessary

  • Prepare and serve breakfast, lunch, and snacks

  • Maintains kitchen in an orderly manner

  • Clean and disinfect kitchen and store rooms

  • Clean and disinfect pots, pans, appliances, dishes and utensils in a timely manner

  • Disinfect surfaces where germs could be transferred

  • Keep work area clean and safe

  • Give feedback for improvements

  • Complete required paperwork daily and keep temperature logs up to date and posted

  • Report any problems with the kitchen to the Director

Other Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Attend staff meetings and /or training as necessary

  • Comply with State and Federal laws, and OKFD’s procedures and safety measures

  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

  • High School diploma or GED

  • 21 years of age or older

  • Pass criminal background check

  • Must have basic knowledge of dietetic principles, food sanitation and food service

  • Food Service Operator Certification

  • Confidential information regarding the OKFD and clients

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to lift 25 lbs or more

  • Must be able to lift and carry equipment and supplies

Job Title: Vocational Job Coach

Job Summary:

The Vocational Job Coach must be able to work and respond to the needs of a diverse population. Properly and accurately record information and provide support to the Lead Job Coach. The Job Coach must have effective verbal, written and organizational skills, and the ability to maintain focus on tasks amid numerous demands.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Exercise his/her community skills by seeking opportunities for the clients in an integrated setting.

  • Assist Lead Job Coach when needed in job searching with prospective clients.

  • Assist with all pick-ups/donations at the center and in the community.

  • Submit necessary documentation to the Lead Job Coach as well as record in each individual’s book at end of days activities.

  • Check documentation to ensure clients’ needs are being met and their rights and privacy are protected.

  • Work with Lead Job Coach to ensure all clients are employed in the jobs of their choice.

Other Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Attend staff meetings and /or training as required.

  • Comply with State and Federal Laws, HIPAA regulations, and OKFD/VOC procedures and safety measures.

  • Maintain confidential information regarding the OKFD/VOC and clients per regulation.

  • Additional duties as required.

Requirements:

  • Must be able to lift 50 lbs or more.

Qualifications:

  • Must be 21 years of age

  • Pass a Criminal Background Check

  • Maintain First Aid and CPR Certification
